DHC Deep Cleansing Oil - Deep cleansing at it's finest?

DHC  skincare has been popping up on my Instagram and Twitter feed lots recently and I was intrigued to try it. Luckily I was fortunate enough to receive a bottle of the Deep Cleansing Oil in the post to try out.

I love cleansing oils, I have combination skin and I know my skin still needs oil to re balance itself. I'm also lazy, I love applying make up but hate removing it! So a product that says it can remove even stubborn make up in seconds is of course going to appeal to me.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

DHC is a Japanese skincare brand and all their products are fragrance free colourant free and suitable for sensitive skin. As well as combo skin I also have rosacea so I have to be very careful what products I use. They are against animal testing, however, they are available in China which does insist on some animal testing. This is worth noting if you only purchase cruelty free products.

When I was looking on the DHC website I was intrigued by a free sample header. You can call them and request a catalogue with free samples of best selling products. This is something I wish more brands would do, I've often brought products that have reacted with my skin and it's really hard to try to return them.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil Packaging

The Deep Cleansing Oil is really simple to use. It comes in a clear bottle and you simply take 2-3 pumps onto dry skin and massage for up to 45 seconds, the longer the massage the deeper the cleanse I find. The main ingredient is olive oil and this is high in antioxidants. When you add a little water it turns into a milky emulsification which you simply rinse off, I like to use a muslin cloth personally.

I have been testing this for about a week and I can see why one bottle is sold every 10 seconds worldwide. As I type this I've just used it to remove my 5 year old niece's Halloween make up and that stuff is usually a nightmare to remove. I've been using it daily to remove my make up at night and I don't have to scrub at my lashes to get all the mascara off, and I wear a lot!

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

My skin after use is left super clean and hydrated. it's now a bathroom staple and I love the fact you can purchase it in different sizes so it's perfect to take travelling or to the gym, my tip is to keep the plastic clip that comes round the pump and simply replace after use.

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is available directly from DHC here in 30ml for £4.50 ,70ml for £12.50  and 200ml for £24.00.

It can also be purchased from selected other retailers including online;
